Why I shoot Photography

Since I was a kid I was obsessed with Adobe Photoshop, downloading photos of cars and editing them. I would take them to school and ask my friends if they liked the edits I did to them. My mother was into photography and had a nice camera growing up. She would take photos and get them printed to hang in our home. I never really had a clue what went into capturing a great image, I just know I loved the visual appeal of what could be accomplished when all of the right elements came together. We would use film since digital photography wasn’t a thing back then, my mom would teach me about the different films you could get for your camera. As I grew up I purchased some action cameras but never really had the money for a nice camera that could capture the world around me. A number of years ago I met an accomplished photographer who re-introduced me to this world and where it is at now. Working with him on a number of projects and with continued learning I was able to adjust to the current world of photography as we know it today. I have shot with a number of cameras and currently shoot with a Fujifilm XH2S, which I love dearly. I am delighted to share my passion with you, through my photos. I personally have had many opportunities to work with video for commercial operations and frankly don’t like video at all. Still photography is where my heart is and hopefully you can get a feeling of that through my work. I prefer landscape, street and wildlife photography. There are a lot of fish in my works since my main source of income is as a Fishing Guide here in Clearwater Florida. I sincerely hope you enjoy my photos and I would encourage you to reach out via email if you have any questions or comments as well!
